NOTES FROM THE WORKBENCH

The latest from Rottweiler.

New apps. Small improvements. Another idea made real. Here's what's landed at Rottweiler.

NEW APP / TROVE

THE COLLECTION KEEPS GROWING

Make room for Trove.

LEGO. Transformers. NECA. Rottweiler Trove brings another three collecting worlds under one roof, with a look and a space of its own.

Browse the catalogues, track what you own and what you want, and add your own notes, locations and photos. LEGO sets can include minifigure and inventory details where available.

Trove is available in early access for Windows and Android. Use the same Rottweiler account for optional sync between your Trove devices. Your Trove collection stays separate from Vault.

More about this release

The app checks for catalogue updates when opened. Coverage depends on the source: a catalogue is a useful starting point, not a promise that every item ever made is listed.

Keep an exported backup as well as a cloud save. Future app updates arrive as a notification so you can download and install when you're ready.

SMALL TOOL / SOUND

Same song. Different mood.

Rottweiler Sound is in Jake's Corner: a free Windows utility that changes the pitch of your music without changing its speed.

Try a saved song first. Live Windows audio uses a separate VB-CABLE setup, explained in the README. This one's for Windows 10/11 x64 PCs only.

NEW EDITION / VAULT

The Vault gets another pocket.

The early-access iPhone Home Screen edition is here. Open it in Safari, add it to your Home Screen, then launch it from its own Vault icon.

Legends, Pops and Cards come with you, along with My Vault, personal item photos and optional collection sync. Use your existing Rottweiler account.

What to know on iPhone

This is a web app for iPhone, not an App Store download or an iPad release. Internet is needed to open it. New versions arrive when you fully close and reopen it online; wait for a successful sync before closing.

Signing in does not switch sync on. Connect it separately in Settings → Sync, check that your cloud save succeeded, and keep an exported backup too. Check that your backup saved in Files or your browser's downloads.

REBUILT / VAULT

Three collections. One front door.

The rebuilt Rottweiler Vault launched for Windows and Android. The display shelf, vinyl collection and card binder now live together, with Legends, Pops and Cards in one app.

Keep Owned, Wanted, Ordered and Considering in distinct lists. Add personal photos and notes, use optional private collection sync, and export your own backups.

What changed

Each collecting area has its own visual identity. You can hide areas you don't use without deleting their data. Private account photos and badges stay personal; there's no social feed or public collection to maintain.

Windows comes as a ZIP to extract; Android comes as an APK. In-app update notices show the patch notes so you can update when you're ready, or return to Settings → Updates later.
